The Add to cable unit and Remove from cable unit functions allow for adding and removing objects to and from a cable unit in a cable drawing. The functions are used on objects which were added to the working window, i.e., they were not imported from Studio.

Add objects to cable unit

1. Select the Edit > Add to cable unit menu items or the button on the toolbar.
2. Select the object you would like to add to the cable unit by clicking.
3. Select a control point to which you would like to attach the object.
   
   The object is added to the cable unit and is moved in the tree view to the 2D objects node below the Cable units node.

Remove objects from cable unit

1. Select the Edit > Remove from cable unit menu items or the button on the toolbar.
2. Select the object you would like to remove from the cable unit by clicking.
   
   The object is removed from the cable unit and is moved, in the tree view, from the 2D objects node below the Cable units node to the Free 2D objects, Free symbols or Free images node.
