Notes for the Reader
The help system contains conceptual information and handling instructions. Pages that only contain conceptual information contain the word "basics" in the title.
There are different information blocks within a help section:
Menu item A > Menu item B > Menu item C > Menu item D

Here you find information which you should observe when working with EPLAN Smart Wiring.

Tip
Here you find tips which make working with EPLAN Smart Wiring easier.
Further information
At the end of most pages you find references to topic-relevant pages within and outside the help system.
In the continuous text certain elements are especially highlighted:
- User interface elements are marked in blue so they can be clearly recognized as a result.
- Bold text provides particularly important information that you should definitely pay attention to.
- Code examples, directory names, and direct input (among others) are displayed in a non-proportional font.
- Glossary entries are highlighted in color. When you position a mouse on top, the explanation on the term is displayed.
- In the handling instructions the reaction of the program to your action is specified at many points.
- The reaction can be found directly below the instruction.
