The Nailboard / cable drawing section of the Settings dialog contains settings applicable to the nailboard / cable drawing.
Note:
The number of displayed options depends on the environment from which the settings were opened. All the options are available when the settings are launched from the nailboard / cable drawing environment.
The following dialog elements are available:
Nailboard / cable drawing
In this main node, you find the following dialog elements:
- Color for selected objects: Determines the color of selected objects.
- Color for highlighted objects: Determines the color of objects when they are highlighted (i.e. if you hover the mouse over the object).
- Grip size: Size of the representation of object handlers (black square).
- Drawing notes file separator: Separator used in the drawing notes file. The separator entered here and the one used in the drawing notes txt file must match.
- Drawing notes file: Path to the drawing notes txt file.
Cable / bundle hatch
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Adjust hatch color to nailboard / cable drawing background color: Toggles inverse black / white colors of hatching and nailboard / cable drawing background. For other colors, when turned on, the hatch is white.
Dimensions
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- User-defined dimension color: Determines the color for user-defined dimensions.
- User-defined dimension font: Determines the settings of font, font size, and font style for user-defined dimensions.
- User-defined dimension line pattern: Determines the default line pattern for dimensions.
- User-defined dimension line thickness: Determines the default line thickness for dimensions.
Graphics
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Graphics driver: Determines the driver for displaying
graphics. Available are OpenGL2, OpenGL, Direct3D (default), and GDI.
Note:
OpenGL2 may not work correctly with Remote Desktop Connection.
- Antialiasing: In computer graphics, antialiasing is the process of removing or reducing the jagged distortions in curves and diagonal lines so that the lines appear smoother. You can select one of the available values from this drop-down list.
- Text greeking limit: The greeking limit for text specifies the minimum text size for which a rectangular box will be substituted. If the currently displayed size of a text (even within annotations, tables, and dimensions) is smaller than the greeking limit determined here, it is displayed as a block.
Note:
This setting serves to enhance graphics performance.
Grids
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Cell width (global grid) / Cell height (global grid): Defines the cell size of newly created global grids.
Measuring
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Font group box: Determines the settings of font, font size, and font style for displaying the measurements in the nailboard / cable drawing working window.
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Default plot frame margins group box: Determines the margins of the default plot frame.
- Default plot frame size group box: Determines Landscape or Portrait format and paper size.
Texts
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Font group box: Determines the settings of font, font size, and font style for text of objects used in nailboards / cable drawings. This setting is applied to objects such as tables, text, etc.
