In EPLAN, separate pin and female pin symbols can be placed in the schematic using a so-called "Direct connection point". If you combine these symbols in such a way that the "2" connection points are opposite each other, then an auto-connect line is generated within the drawn plug-in connector. This connection is automatically assigned the "Direct connection" function definition.
