A daisy chain is a list of connection points that are connected in order to one another in pairs. The first connection point of a daisy chain is the source of the first connection. The second connection point in the daisy chain is the target of the first connection and at the same time the source of the second connection. All subsequent connection points in the daisy chain are similarly the target of the preceding one and the source for the next one until the last connection point is reached.
