P027003: The topology function is not connected to a connection

Cause

Possibility 1

Within the routing path network, a topology function was determined that is not connected to a target via a routing connection. Thus, there is no routing connection on the connection point (connection point pattern) of the topology function.

Possibility 2

A terminal strip of the "Topology" representation type was displayed in the routing path network in a distributed manner, without defining the connection points.

Solution

Regarding option 1

  1. Locate the topology functions in the routing path network using the Go to (graphic) function from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
  2. Insert another topology function in the routing path network as a target of the routing connection.
  3. Add routing paths and routing points to the routing path network using the menu items Insert > Topology > Routing path and Insert > Topology > Routing point.
  4. Connect the two topology functions and routing points with the routing paths, and thus specify a routing track through the routing path network.
  5. Select the total routing path network, and select the menu items Project data > Topology > Route.

A routing connection through the routing path network is generated between the two topology functions.
  6. Then start a new check run.

Regarding option 2

  1. Locate the terminal strip displayed in a distributed manner in the routing path network using the Go to (graphic) function from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
  2. Open the Properties <...> dialog for each terminal strip displayed in a distributed manner and bring the Connection point pattern tab to the front.
  3. Select the Update connection point pattern menu item from the popup menu.
  4. Delete all connection points from the connection point pattern that are not to be connected to this display of the terminal strip. (For example, these can be connection points that are connected with targets in another routing path network.)
  5. Select the total routing path network, and re-route the connections.
  6. Then start a new check run.
