Using the Macro Navigator in Schematic Projects

The macro navigator now also supports the display of macros in schematic projects. This allows you to recognize which window and symbol macros were used in a schematic project. Inserted page and 3D macros are not displayed in schematic projects.

You can use the macro navigator in the schematic project to update several macros existing in a project with the data from the associated macro files by means of the new popup menu item Update macros.

Benefit:

You can use the macro navigator to recognize inserted window and symbol macros in a schematic project and update them via the new popup menu item Update macros.

Note:

The macro boxes have to be inserted as well so that the window and symbol macros inserted in the schematic project can be displayed and updated in the macro navigator. To do so activate the project setting Also insert macro boxes. Alternatively you can individually determine for each macro during the preparation of the macros in the macro project whether the macro box is to be inserted or not. The setting at the macro box via the drop-down list Also insert macro box takes priority over the project setting.
