Configuring Perforex Field Designations with EPLAN Properties

The settings dialogs of the two NC exports for Rittal-Perforex BC / LC were extended by the new Field identifier tab. This tab makes it possible to individually configure field designations for the export to Perforex machine software. (A possible menu path for the settings dialogs is: Options > Settings > Company > Machining > Export Rittal - Perforex <BC / LC> / Secarex.)

To this purpose the field designations in the Perforex software are assigned to selectable EPLAN properties in a table. If you have marked an entry in the Formatting column, the [...] button opens the dialog Select format elements. In this dialog you can select the desired EPLAN properties.

After that the assigned Perforex field names are defined through the EPLAN properties. So for example the name of the current EPLAN project can be assigned to the Perforex field "Main program - Name" by assigning the EPLAN property "Project name" (P10000). Combinations of several properties are dependent on the Perforex software version used and are possible up to a total length of 255 characters.

Benefit:

With the configuration of the Perforex field descriptions through EPLAN properties the order name can, for example, be defined in a way that orders in the Perforex software can be uniquely assigned to the respective EPLAN projects, customer data and parts data.

This way an order of the Perforex software can be recognized and reused at any time.
