The nets existing in a layout space and the connections routed in it can be optimized automatically. In the case of large nets with many connections the optimization can take some time. To limit the time required you can apply the optimization exclusively to nets that do not contain more than a specified number of connections.
To this purpose the new setting Apply to nets to number of connections is available in the Optimize nets automatically dialog (Menu path: Project data > Connections > Optimize nets automatically). Nets with more connections than the number entered here are not optimized. The maximal value is 2000. If a net was not optimized, this is logged in the system messages.
