Harmonization of Field Designations and Properties

For this version the designations of entry fields in dialogs and the designations of the associated properties have been harmonized in the PLC area.

Benefit:

Due to the renaming, the relationship of the field designations and the associated properties is more transparent. This, for example, makes the selection of the desired properties in the property dialog or the display of reports easier.

In the course of these harmonizations, the corresponding error checkings were renamed.

Logical network / physical network

In the past the name of the logical network was specified in the property dialog of a bus port in the field Bus master / bus coupler and the name of the physical network in the field Bundle / Network ID. The associated properties had names deviating from the field descriptions.
The properties that describe the logical and physical network were standardized and are now distinguished by the prefix "Logical network" and "Physical network". This way the properties are displayed vertically grouped in the property tables. The meaning of the properties is now more evident.

Device description

The properties for the entry of a GSD file name were renamed to the neutral term "Device description", since other files can also be used as GSD files.

Bus interfaces

The properties that refer to the bus interfaces were renamed and the prefix "bus interface" assigned. This way the properties are displayed vertically grouped in the property tables. The bus port that bears the data of a bus interface is now not described as the interface master but as the main bus port.
