Options > Settings > User > Display > Languages
This dialog is used to define the settings for the languages of the user interface and of the help system.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
Different languages for the user interface are offered for selection in this drop-down list.
Notes:
- You can only select other languages from the Dialog language list if these languages have also been installed on your system.
- After selecting a different dialog language, you must restart EPLAN before the new language is displayed in the user interface.
In this drop-down list, EPLAN offers different languages to be used as the alternative language. You can use an alternative language if the project language is not available as a dictionary language.
Help system group box
The help is opened online via an Internet connection. With the [Check] button you can check whether help systems are available. Possible status messages are:
- Undefined: The [Check] button has not been used yet.
- Help available: The Internet connection check has been run. A help system is available in at least one language.
- Help not available: The Internet connection check has been run. No help system was found.
This check is carried out automatically when the help is called up the first time after the program start.
Using this drop-down list, EPLAN offers you different languages to be used in the help system. All the available help languages are displayed. Select the desired language.
If a preselected help language is not available, the help is displayed in English (en_US).
