Using the Hatch Editor

In Harness proD Library, hatches can be assigned to any type of surface protection and to bundles and cables. The hatches can then be used in the nailboard.

If you want to remove the assigned hatch from an object, click [Reset] to revert any changes.

  1. Select the Style library > Create hatch menu items or the button on the toolbar to start the hatch editor.
  2. Enter the name of the new hatch.

The preview is updated according to the changes made in the dialog, with the rectangle representing the path (surface protection, bundle, etc.).
  3. Activate the Outline check box to be able to access the Shape drop-down list and select the shape of the outline.
  4. In the Distance field, determine the distance between the shapes of the outline.
  5. In the Width and Height fields, determine the size of the shape.
  6. The Thickness entry determines the line thickness of the shape.
  7. Use the Offset field to determine the offset from the path (surface protection, bundle, etc.).
  8. Activate the Baseline command to create a line between the shape and the path (surface protection, bundle, etc.).
  9. Use the First line, Angle, Distance, Thickness, and Offset fields to determine the corresponding properties of the first hatch.
  10. Determine the (identical) properties of the second hatch.

By defining an offset for both hatches, two parallel hatches can be defined.
  11. Click [OK] to save the changes and close the hatch editor, or click [Cancel] to close the wizard without saving the changes.
