The Place surface on surface command is available in the workspace environment. It is used to align one surface with another and place them together. A surface can be one side of a connector, for example, but it can also be one of several "flat areas" on a control point etc.
- Select the Edit > Place surface on surface menu items or the button on the toolbar.
- Select the source surface (the one to be moved) by clicking.
- Move the mouse over the target surface.
A preview is shown. - Use [N] to flip the direction.
- Left-click to align the objects.
- Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the [Place surface on surface] button again, if desired.
