The element <mailto> generates a new e-mail by means of the locally installed mail client. The fields of the new email, e.g. “To” and “Subject” can be pre-populated with text. Texts in the text field of the e-mail are wrapped by using the decimal (see Line break).

The text of the e-mail (the body) can be additionally stated as the content of the element. In that case the text cannot be calculated (the same behavior as for the element <label>).
