End points in the 2D environment represent the end points of the 3D leading path created in the 3D environment of leading parts or grommet components.
A clip point represents the 3D clip point created in the 3D environment of the clip component. Each clip component has only one clip point.
End points / clip points stand for the points (and directions) where paths (cables, wires, bundles, any type of surface protection) go in / out of the leading part, grommet, or clip. End points / clip points are not displayed in the nailboard.
Note:
These points cannot be created, removed, or even renamed within the 2D environment.
Alignment
For a correct leading part / grommet / clip symbol alignment in the nailboard, end points / clip points must be placed onto the symbol to match the real-world alignment.
