The Show hidden objects command allows for easily selecting hidden objects to be displayed again. When the command is terminated, the previously visible objects and the selected objects are visible.
- Select the View > Show hidden objects menu items or the (Show hidden objects) button below the properties panel in the nailboard's / cable drawing's working window.
Visible objects remain the same, hidden objects become transparent. - Left-click on a transparent object.
The objects become visible and therefore opaque. They are set to remain visible even after the command is terminated. - Right-click on a transparent object to make it invisible. This is e.g. useful if the objects overlap and you want to select a certain object which is behind another one.
- Click [Cancel] in the command bar, or press [Esc] to terminate the command.
Previously visible objects remain visible.
Objects selected to be visible become visible.
Temporarily show hidden objects in a view
- Switch to the Views tab in the nailboard / cable drawing working window.
- Click the (Show all objects) button on the Views toolbar. Or press the [Alt] + [H] shortcut key.
All hidden objects are displayed.
Note:
To use the shortcut, the Views tab does not have to be activated.
- Since the hidden objects are displayed only temporarily, they will become invisible again if you switch to a different view and back to the current one. All objects are visible as they originally were when the view was created.
