Report settings allow you to select which columns are to be displayed for each of the report types. The options slightly differ for each of the types, letting you choose type-specific columns and other type-specific settings. The Report settings dialog can be accessed via the Tools > Configure menu items, from the toolbar, or via right-click in the report's header. The type-specific options are available in the Columns group box in the form of check boxes. The following special settings are available for the individual report types:
- Bill of materials (aggregated) - Show parts from different suppliers separately: This setting separates the same items if they have different suppliers and arranges them in different rows. If identical objects with different suppliers are displayed in one row, then the suppliers are not shown and a dash "-" symbol is displayed instead.
- Cable report - Show individual wires: This setting will display the wires contained in the cables.
Show other content (insulation, ...): This setting will display other content contained in the cables (e.g. jackets, shields, dielectrics, ...). - Connectable object report - Show pins: This setting will display the pins of connectable objects in separate rows.
Show connectable object positions: If activated, the Position X, Position Y and Position Z and the Position RX, Position RY and Position RZ columns become available in the Unused columns list. These columns can then be added to the Active columns list. - Special components report - Show special components pins: This setting will display the pins of special components in separate rows.
Show special components positions: If activated, the Position X, Position Y and Position Z columns become available in the Unused columns list. These columns can then be added to the Active columns list. - Wire list - Show cables: This setting will display cables.
Show cable content: This setting will display the cables and the wires inside the cables. - Assembly / device report - Show subparts: Activating this setting will include the components which the assemblies / devices are composed of in the report.
Show attached parts: This setting will display the attached parts of assemblies / devices.
