A circle is a closed curve, everywhere equidistant from its center. A circle through three points is defined by three points which are intersected by the curve. To create a circle through 3 points, you can use the mouse and the keyboard. Both techniques can be combined.
Using the mouse
- Click the Circle through 3 points button on the toolbar.
- Determine the first point by clicking on the desired location in the 2D working window.
- Determine the other points in the same way.
- Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Circle through 3 points button again, if desired.
Using the command bar
- Click the Circle through 3 points button on the toolbar.
- Determine the X and Y coordinates of the first point in the command bar and confirm with [OK].
- Determine the second and third points in the same way.
- Click [OK] to complete the circle.
- Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Circle through 3 points button again, if desired.
