- Click the Create auxiliary radial grid button on the toolbar or select the Insert > Auxiliary radial grid menu items.
- Select one of the Construction aids options in the command bar.
- Left-click to determine the center point of the auxiliary radial grid.
- In the Input mode group box, enter the value for the radius into the Radius field. Or drag the mouse to specify the radial grid's radius.
- Enter the number of wedges of the auxiliary radial grid in the No. of rays field.
- Enter the value for the distance between the circles of the auxiliary radial grid in the Circle distance field.
- Left-click to place the auxiliary radial grid.
As soon as the last point of the grid is placed, the command is terminated. - Select the auxiliary radial grid either in the 3D window or in the tree view to change its properties in the properties panel.
Note:
When placing objects, you can choose to place them freely, on a key point, anywhere on a particular surface, or anywhere on a particular plane. You can also combine these options, e.g. you can choose to place an object on a particular plane and then on a particular key point on that plane. Just use the corresponding button or shortcut.
