Creating Circles

A circle is a closed curve, everywhere equidistant from its center. A circle by radius is defined by its center and radius. To create a circle by radius, you can use the mouse and the keyboard. Both techniques can be combined.

Using the mouse

  1. Click the Create circle button on the toolbar.
  2. Determine the first point (the center of the circle) by clicking on the desired location in the 2D working window.
  3. Determine the other point in the same way to define the radius of the circle.
  4. Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Create circle button again, if desired.

Using the command bar

  1. Click the Create circle button on the toolbar.
  2. Determine the X and Y coordinates of the center of the circle in the command bar and confirm with [OK].
  3. Determine the radius of the circle.
  4. Click [OK] to complete the circle.
  5. Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Create circle button again, if desired.
