Semiconductors are electronic components that rely on the electronic properties of semiconductor materials for their function.
A 3D window is available for semiconductors. It serves to model a 3D representation, including pins for further use in EPLAN Harness proD.
It is also possible to create a 2D representation of a semiconductor. It can then be used in EPLAN Harness proD nailboard and cable drawing documents. The 2D window is not active by default, but you can add it by going to Part > Windows > Add.
Note:
A connecting point is automatically created in the 2D window. The connecting point determines the position of the semiconductor's symbol in the nailboard and cable drawing documents.
