Modification / Extension of the Settings Dialog for the Komax - Zeta Export Interface of the Series 6x0
An interface is available in EPLAN Pro Panel for the export of manufacturing data for wire fabrication machines of the manufacturer Komax. The company-specific settings for the export have been extended so that the wire fabrication machines of the series "Komax - Zeta 6x0" are now supported for the export. The wire fabrication machines of this series are equipped with up to eight different process modules that allow fully automatic and highly flexible fabrication of single conductors for enclosure wiring.
Benefit:
In the company-specific settings of the Komax interface you can now select the suitable machine commands with speaking names for the wire termination processing defined in the project, for example "Crimp", "Strip", "Tin", etc. In addition the new interface offers the possibility to output user-specific data and formats for direct printing of the single conductors and also to label the tube markings that are manufactured by the machine and that can be automatically moved over the wire terminations of the single conductors. In addition, the machine can be asked to create up to six different bundle types, making it possible to manufacture single-sided and double-sided round bundles, single-sided and double-sided sequence bundles, and loop and chain bundle elements. For identification purposes, an "info wire" with freely selectable labeling can also be added to each bundle.
Changes in the user interface
In the dialog Settings: Komax - Zeta numerous tabs as well as columns and fields have been renamed, moved, removed or newly added for Version 2025. A possible command path to this dialog is: File > Settings > Company > Wire fabrication > Komax -Zeta.

- The fields Number of wires per bundle maximum, Total conductor cross-section maximum, Double crimping module installed and Flex-bundling installed have been removed.
- The fields Continuous text from wire length, Routing direction up, Routing direction down, Routing direction left, Routing direction right and Automatically rotate print texts have been moved into the Labeling tab.
- The fields Bundling at the machine and Bundle type have been moved to the Bundle tab.
Note:
The following applies with regard to all length and cross-section specifications: If no measuring unit is entered in the corresponding fields, "mm" is assumed for the length specification and "mm²" for the cross-section specification. If the length in "Inch" or the cross-section in "AWG" is to be specified, the respective measuring unit must be explicitly entered. During the export the conversion required for the machine from "Inch" to "mm" is then carried out, but "AWG" is not converted.
