    Remarks

    The tripping characteristic describes how a protection device (such as a miniature circuit-breaker, circuit breaker) reacts to overcurrent. Meaning, as of which current and in which time it switches off to protect cables, lines or devices. The values (for example B, C) are standardized codes.
