Assign roles and licenses

ClosedAssign a role and license to a user

Roles and licenses in user management are either assigned and revoked by the main administrator of the organization or by a user to whom the main administrator has assigned the role "Manage" for user management. By selecting a role, the product appears on the dashboard and is available to the user.

  1. Select a user in the selection area.
  2. Click the icon.
  3. Open the drop-down list for the respective product.
  4. Select a role.

    5. By assigning a role to the user, you also assign an EPLAN license at the same time. More about EPLAN licenses can be found here.

  5. Click Save.
  6. You have assigned a role to a user.

ClosedAssign a role and license to several users

Roles and licenses in user management are either assigned and revoked by the main administrator of the organization or by a user to whom the main administrator has assigned the role "Manage" for user management.   1. Click the icon in the selection area.
  2. Select all or multiple users.
  3. Click the icon.
  4. Open the drop-down list for the respective product.
  5. Select a role.

    6. By assigning a role to the user, you also assign an EPLAN license at the same time. More about EPLAN licenses can be found here.

  6. Click Save.
  7. You have assigned the same role to multiple users.
