Add users from Microsoft Entra ID
Important
- The Microsoft account must be integrated with Microsoft Entra ID. More on this topic is available here.
- You must be logged into the EPLAN Cloud with your Microsoft account. If you have not yet used your Microsoft account to sign in, you can add this account later. Further information is available here.
Add a user from Microsoft Entra ID
Prerequisite

The Microsoft account must be integrated with Microsoft Entra ID. More on this topic is available here.
- You must be logged into the EPLAN Cloud with your Microsoft account.
- Click Add in the selection area.
- Click Add from Microsoft Entra ID.
- Enter the name of the user you want to add.
- Select the desired user.
- Click Add.
- You have added the user.
- The user becomes a member of your organization immediately.
The dialog Add users opens.
If the dialog for querying the Microsoft Entra ID permission "Read all users" opens, follow the steps here.
Add groups (multiple users) from Microsoft Entra ID
Prerequisite

The Microsoft account must be integrated with Microsoft Entra ID. More on this topic is available here.
- You must be logged into the EPLAN Cloud with your Microsoft account.
- Permission to read groups must have been granted in Microsoft Entra ID. Further information is available here.
- Click Add in the selection area.
- Click Add from Microsoft Entra ID.
- Enter the name of the group or part of it in the search field.
- Select the desired group.
- Click Add.
- You have added the users and their names are listed in the user management.
- Users are instantly members of your organization.
The dialog Add users opens.
You can also find and add multiple groups.
The group is disbanded. This way all the recipients within the group become visible in the recipient list.
