The EPLAN Cogineer supports you in working in international teams. Depending on the selected user interface language in the software the contents are displayed automatically in the respective language. If the contents are not available in the user interface language, they are displayed in English (en_US). If English is not available either, the first available language is displayed. You can use the functionalities of the EPLAN platform dictionary to maintain the required master data.
Multilingual input
When you create new elements in EPLAN Cogineer, you can specify the names in several languages. In addition, you can have the names of the elements translated if the EPLAN platform dictionary already contains the name. This possibility exists for the following elements:
- Macro-Typicals
- Typical-Groups
- Configurators
- Configuration variables (displayed name)
The dictionary of the EPLAN platform
Some of the functionalities of the EPLAN platform dictionary are also supported in EPLAN Cogineer. The following functionalities are always applied to the complete project:
- Translate automatically
- Export missing-word list
- Import project texts into the dictionary
- Remove translation from project
