Typical-Groups are used to group / nest Macro-Typicals. They contain Macro-Typicals and / or other Typical-Groups. This method allows you to group sub-functions that belong to one group function.
Preconditions:
- You have called up the Designer dialog.
- You have opened the library which contains all the data that you want to use.
- You have selected the Typical-Groups tab in the sidebar.
Creating a Typical-Group
- Click the
Create a new Typical-Group button in the sidebar.
- Enter the desired name for the Typical-Group in the Name field in the workspace.
- Confirm your entries.
- The view switches to the editing mode.
- The Typical-Group is stored in the library.
Duplicating a Typical-Group
- Select the Typical-Group that you wish to duplicate in the sidebar.
- The view switches to the editing mode.
- Click the
button next to the name of the Typical-Group.
- The duplicate is added under the selected Typical-Group. The name is applied and the following suffix is added: "_<Counter>
_duplicate ".
Deleting a Typical-Group
- Select the Typical-Group that you wish to delete in the sidebar.
- The view switches to the editing mode.
- Click the
button next to the name of the Typical-Group.
Note:
When you delete a Typical-Group, a check is carried out whether there are references to Macro-Typicals or configurators. Existing references are displayed in a message. Subsequently you decide whether the Typical-Group is to be deleted nevertheless.
