EPLAN Harness proD Requirements

Before installing EPLAN Harness proD on a workstation make sure the hardware and software requirements are met.

Recommended hardware specification

  • Physical memory: 16 GB
  • Hard disk: SSD with at least 4 GB of free space
  • Graphics card: Dedicated graphics card from AMD (ATI) or Nvidia with current Direct 3D 11+ / OpenGL 2+ drivers and 2 GB RAM (comparable to a Nvidia Quadro 600 or higher)
  • Processor: Multicore CPU, not older than 3 years

Software requirements

One of the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64 Bit) Pro, Enterprise
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 1709
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 1803
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 1809
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 1903
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 1909
  • Microsoft Windows 11 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 21H2
  • Microsoft Windows 11 (64 Bit) Pro; Enterprise Build 22H2

One of the following servers:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 (64 Bit)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (64 Bit)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019 (64 Bit)
  • Terminal Server with Citrix XenApp 7.15 and Citrix Desktop 7.15

All of the following runtime environment software:

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package
  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable Package
