A drawing header is a title block which is used in the Studio application to display various types of information. In order to use the drawing header in Studio, you should first create some text fields in the drawing header in the Library application. Text fields can be filled with external values by using the formula editor or manually edited in EPLAN Harness proD Studio.
Note:
There is one 2D window available for the drawing header; others can be added.
The 2D window is the place where the drawing header is designed. See 2D Environment and the following sections of this help for detailed information on working within the 2D environment.
- Draw the desired layout of the drawing header (typically using the Rectangle and Line commands).
- Insert texts (using the Text command) into the "grid" created in the previous step.
- Set external values for text fields by using the formula editor.
Note:
When the drawing header is placed in the nailboard / cable drawing environment in EPLAN Harness proD Studio, the texts can be replaced (manually or with a property value). This is why it is useful to distinguish between the texts which serve as titles and those which are to be replaced by a user-defined value.
