Dialog Color selection

In this dialog you select a color from a predefined color palette. The color selection provides either all 256 colors or a reduced selection (32 colors).

When you move the cursor over a color, a tooltip is displayed showing the internal color number and the RGB values (red, green, and blue elements) of the color.

Overview of the main dialog elements:

(From symbol):

This button is for the color settings of symbols. Symbols are then displayed as standard in the colors used for the symbol creation and that are entered at the symbol.

(From layer):

This button is available when you have selected a function, component, graphical element, or text.

This button allows the color of an object to be set "From layer". The color number is determined from the layer that the object is assigned to. If you assign a different color to the layer in layer management, the color of the object changes automatically.

/ (Extend / Reduce):

Click this button to expand the dialog and make a larger selection of colors available. Or reduce the expanded dialog to the original size with a reduced selection of colors.

Background-dependent:

32 colors are available for selection in this field. The colors displayed here depend on the color scheme settings for the screen background. If you select a different color scheme, the internal color numbers are assigned different color values, i.e. the displayed colors change.
