Display Numerical Values as Texts in the Block Properties

In the past the block properties could only be displayed for the number or an "X" (for Boolean value = TRUE) in the case of properties with numeric or Boolean values (for example trade, representation type, bus system, etc.). To nevertheless display multilingual, meaningful texts, replacement texts for the block properties had to be defined.

The new setting Show numerical value as text is available for you when formatting the properties in the Format: Block property dialog.

If this check box is activated, the text stored in the program is shown for a property with numeric or Boolean property values in the respective block property instead of the numeric or Boolean values (for example the text "electrical engineering" instead of the value "0" for the property Trade.) The text can be shown in a specific language by using the Language drop-down list.

Benefit:

You can have the texts that are stored in the program displayed in the block properties by means of the new setting instead of the numeric property values. The detour through the replacement text is no longer required.
