Improvements in the Dialog "Edit terminal strip"

Multiple selection when adding alignable terminal accessories

In the Edit terminal strip dialog you can now assign multiple alignable accessory parts to a terminal at the same time. To this purpose you mark the terminal and select the popup menu item Add alignable accessories. Multiple selection of accessory parts is now possible in the tree of the Part selection dialog then opened. All the parts selected there are assigned to the marked terminal.

Benefit:

The completion of the terminal strip is simplified and accelerated by the multiple selection of accessories.

The popup menu item Add alignable accessories can now also be carried out for multiple marked terminals. The alignable accessories selected in the subsequent dialog are then entered at the marked main terminals or multi-level terminals.

Generating multiple multi-level terminals simultaneously

The new button (Generate multi-level terminals) allows you to generate multiple multi-level terminals simultaneously. To this purpose mark multiple terminals in the Edit terminal strip dialog and confirm this button. You specify the desired number of levels in the subsequent dialog. After you have confirmed your entries, the marked terminals are combined to multi-level terminals with a fixed number of levels.

Benefit:

With the new button for the generation of multi-level terminals the conversion of simple terminals into multi-level terminals is much faster and easier.

Additional columns for the properties "Graphical display in reports"

So that terminals can be better evaluated in the terminal diagrams, you have the possibility to use graphics in the terminal diagrams. You assign certain values for the graphical display to a terminal via the properties Graphical display in reports [1] - [10]. When generating a report (for example a terminal diagram) these values are replaced by graphics, which are stored in an assignment table at a form.

In the Edit terminal strip dialog you can now display the Graphical display in reports [1] - [10] properties as additional columns in the scheme for the column configuration. In these fields the values assigned to the terminal for the graphical display are displayed and can be edited here.

Benefit:

With the additionally displayed columns, graphically upgraded reports can already be prepared in the Edit terminal strip dialog.

Renamed and additional columns for the display of the connection point designations

In the columns Terminal connection point (external) and Terminal connection point (internal) the connection point designation of the terminal connection point is respectively displayed for an external / internal target to which this target is connected. The columns have been renamed to make clearer that these entries are connection point designations.

Old designation

New designation

Terminal connection point (external)

Connection point designation (external)

Terminal connection point (internal)

Connection point designation (internal)

Benefit:

The assignment of the columns to the respective fields in the property dialog of the terminals is directly visible since these now have the same designation. This means that it is now easier to find columns in the Edit terminal strip dialog.

In addition all connection point designations and connection point descriptions of the terminals can now be displayed. To do this the following properties can be shown as additional columns in the scheme for the column configuration:

The values displayed in these columns can be changed here and written back to the terminal.

Additional columns for the display of type numbers

In the scheme for the column configuration the Part: Type number [1] - [10] properties can now be shown as additional columns. These fields show the parts assigned to the type numbers of the terminal.

Benefit:

Since terminals are often configured according to types, operation is possible more intuitively and quickly - thanks to (often) shorter type numbers.
