Multiple Selection of Placeholder Objects

In the new version multiple placeholder objects can now be selected and - under certain conditions - edited together. This means that a multiple selection is possible both in the graphical editor as well as in the navigators for placeholder objects and macros.

Benefit:

With the new block editing of placeholder objects, placeholders that are used multiple times in different macros can be modified quicker.

If all the selected placeholder objects have the same variable name and the same value set name, a block editing of multiple placeholder objects is possible. In this case you can edit the fields Name and Description in the subsequently opened property dialog for placeholder objects as well as the variables and value sets together on the Value tab. A value set generated via (New) or a new variable is added to all selected placeholder objects.

If the mentioned requirements are not met, you can only change the name and description for a multiple selection of placeholder objects. In this case the variables and value sets on the Value tab are grayed out.
