Cross-references in the Pre-planning

Cross-references can now be shown at the segments of the pre-planning pages, if corresponding "Counterpieces" exist, which are either placed in the detailed planning (P&I diagram, multi-line schematic) or the pre-planning pages. The following is possible for example:

Benefit:

The new cross-references in the pre-planning make it easier to detect and find further placements and links of the segments. As a result the extended jump function enables rapid navigation in the project. This saves time and you retain an overview at the placements of segments distributed over multiple project pages.

Settings for cross-references

So that you can carry out settings for the display of these cross-references, the following settings have been extended by the page type "Pre-planning":

The menu path for these settings is Options > Settings > Projects > "Project name" > Cross-references / contact image.

Extended jump function to counterpiece

To jump from one segment to the cross-referenced counterpiece in the graphical editor, you can select the Go to (counterpiece) popup menu or alternatively press the pushbutton [F]. In this case a jump from one segment on a pre-planning page to a linked main function in the detailed planning only takes place if there are no further placements for the segment on the pre-planning pages.

Extended master data for pre-planning

The display of the cross-references for the pre-planning is also effected by means of the known property Cross-reference (main / aux. function) (ID 20300). So that possible cross-references can be displayed immediately, the property arrangements of the symbols were extended by this property for the segments and the PCT loops.

The cross-references to the segments are displayed on the P&I diagrams on the new layer EPLAN832, Property placement.Cross-references.P&ID.
