Generation of file names and subdirectories
In both NC exports for Rittal Perforex you now have the possibility to specify default settings for the file names and subdirectories. To this purpose the two settings Generate file names and Generate subdirectories have been added to the respective General tab in the dialogs Settings: Export Rittal - Perforex BC / Secarex and Settings: Export Rittal - Perforex LC / Secarex.
This allows the files names and subdirectories to be made up of layout space and project properties as well as of freely definable separators (or directory separators at the subdirectories) for the NC export.
In addition the Attach legend position of items setting that was no longer needed for both NC exports has been removed from the General tab.
Prefix for outlines
With the Prefix setting on the General tab you were in the past able to specify a character or a string that preceded the entries for part numbers of the items and the machine names in the exported NC file. These assignments are not required anymore. The setting under Prefix now only has an effect for the generation of a Perforex outline name. The default setting is "BC_" or "LC_".
Altered default setting for milling cutters (Perforex BC)
The Z high setting on the Tools tab of the settings for the Export "Rittal - Perforex BC / Secarex" defines how high the milling cutter is to lift up from the workpiece during the intermediate movements. The default value was increased to 6 mm / 0.2362. This is especially required for the correct operation during the post-processing of fins with the setting Do not generate rework program on the Fins tab.
The "Default" scheme for this machine has been adapted accordingly. We recommend increasing this value in the self-created schemes to 6 mm / 0.2362" as well.
Suffix for rework programs
With the Suffix for rework programs setting on the Fins tab of the settings for the "Rittal - Perforex BC / Secarex" export you determine a character string which is attached during the generation of the name of a Perforex rework program and the name of a Perforex rework contour. The default setting is _NA.
If the suffix is set additionally in the Perforex software, ensure that both settings match.
