Connection points are, for example, the screw connection of a male pin in a plug, a PLC connection point, screw connections U/V/W on the motor, or the end of a cable connection. Function definitions contain the logical connection point data. Connection points are designated with sequential numbers 1 through n and graphically with connecting points on the symbol.
