Dialog Jumper

Connections flow in four directions at a jumper. While double junctions have two ends that are connected with two targets, and two ends are connected with one target, jumpers have one end connected with three targets and three ends connected with one target. Every jumper can also have four variants.

Jumpers can also be displayed as points.

Overview of the main dialog elements:

Specify targets:

This check box is normally only displayed if you have a license for net-based connections. It is also displayed when you open a project in which this check box was deselected for a connection symbol. The check box cannot be selected again without a license, however.

If you have selected this check box, you can access the other possible settings, and define the connection direction and representation.

If this check box is deselected, the order of the targets for the connection symbol concerned will be ignored, and the connection symbol will appear as a dot. In this case the connections are not automatically generated and have to be specified manually.

Below / Right / Above / Left:

Every jumper has three connection directions.
Here you specify the desired variant by selecting the corresponding option.

Draw as point:

Select this check box if you want the jumper to be drawn as a connection point.

If you selected the With target specification or as point option in the dialog Settings: Connection symbols, the last setting made will be saved, and will be used by default the next time you insert a connection symbol.
