The following points have been improved for the inserting and editing of mounting aids:
- Multiple placement of these mounting aids is now possible when defining mounting points, mounting lines and mounting grids.
- All mounting aids can now be moved in a macro project, mounting points, mounting lines and mounting grids can also be duplicated.
- The property dialogs for the mounting aids have been simplified and standardized. In these dialogs only the Name and Description fields are now still available - with the exception of the mounting grid.
Benefit:
The standardized dialogs and the simplified editing facilitate the definition of mounting aids.
Simplified Defining of Mounting Grids
Previously a mounting grid was defined through the determination of snap points. Now you can place a new mounting grid freely during the definition. After the selected surface has been clicked, snap points are displayed there and handles are displayed on the mounting grid to be placed.
As you are used to from other functionalities, the current handle is indicated though red cuboids, the possible handles through gray cuboids. Press [A] to change the handle. You can also use the familiar dialog Placement options to determine a handle as well as an offset of the selected handle to the cursor position.
Further changes and improvements
- The dialog Mounting grid, which is opened before the placement, has been redesigned. You now define the mounting grid by using the Grid increment and the Number of grid lines fields in the X direction and in the Y direction.
- Analog to other mounting aids mounting grids can now be placed several times in succession.
- After you have completed the action, you can open the property dialog to edit the properties (for example to modify the automatically assigned names). This revised dialog now disposes of two tabs. On the second tab Format you can subsequently change the grid increment and the number of the grid lines in the X and in Y direction.
- In a macro project it is now possible to move and to duplicate the mounting grid.
- For better optical detection small cross lines are now displayed for single-row mounting grids.
