In the case of a norm-compliant display of the designation and the symbolic address for the building automation in accordance with the standard VDI 3814 the two properties Segment definition: Separator symbolic address (ID 44090) and Segment definition: No blank space before the number (ID 44091) are available during the configuration of segment definitions.
In the dialog Configure segment definitions a segment definition is configured in the Configuration tab. Here you can add the two properties to the Properties table via the property selection.
- Segment definition: No blank space before the number (ID 44091):
If this property is selected for a PCT loop or a PCT loop function, no blank is displayed for the designation between the "Processing function" component and the "Number" component.
This can be seen, for example, in the tree of the pre-planning navigator, in the property dialog of the segments and at the placed segments in the P&I diagram, if the corresponding properties such as Designation (full) (ID 44009) are used in the property arrangement for the display of properties.
The activation of the new property Segment definition: No blank space before the number is used to avoid a blank space being displayed between the "Processing function" component and the "Number" component. This ensures uniform representation of the designations at the various points in the pre-planning, such as the tree of the pre-planning navigator and the property dialog of the segments.
- Segment definition: Separator symbolic address (ID 44090):
The separator defined here precedes the individual component of a segment in the symbolic address. This allows the individual components of this segment to be differentiated from the individual components of the segments of the other structure levels. In order for a change in the symbolic address to be transferred to all other segments (planning objects, PCT loops) in the pre-planning navigator or to the placed PLC connection points in the schematic, you have to update the detailed planning and in the process select the option Update device tags and symbolic addresses.
By means of the new property Segment definition: Separator symbolic address, the single component of the symbolic address of a segment can be differentiated more easily from the individual components of the segments of the other structure levels. When the detailed planning is updated, such a change is transferred to the segments in the pre-planning and to the placed PLC connection points in the schematic. This allows for efficient and correct planning and implementation of the building automation.
The individual component of a consumer is "MA3". The separator "#" is specified in the configuration of the associated segment definition. As a result, the symbolic address "HK1HW1MA3I1" for a PLC input is changed to "HK1HW1#MA3I1".
