The Nailboard section of the Settings dialog contains settings applicable to the nailboard.
Note:
The number of displayed options depends on the environment from which the settings were opened. All the options are available when the settings are launched from the nailboard environment.
The following dialog elements are available:
Nailboard
In this main node, you find the following dialog elements:
- Background color: Determines the background color of nailboards.
Objects
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Default nail: Defines the size of a user-defined nail.
- Pre-defined symbol: Determines the default symbol of the nail.
Grids
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Rotate segment grid: Defines the number of segments into which the local grid is divided by specifying the angle between them. The lesser the angle is, the more fluent the Move command will be.
- Gaps grid - max. lengthening coefficient: Defines the maximum allowed lengthening coefficient for shrinking / lengthening bundles / cables. The default value "1" doesn't allow any lengthening, only shrinking. A coefficient of "2" allows lengthening of max. 100%.
- Gaps grid - circle distance: Defines the number of radial shrinking steps for gaps grids by specifying a value in percent (10% ~ 10 steps, 25% ~ 4 steps, etc.).
- Gaps grid - segment: Defines the number of segments into which the gaps grid is divided by specifying the angle between them. The lesser the angle is, the more fluent the Move command will be.
Templates
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Save with user-defined properties: If activated, user-defined properties of the nailboard document are included in the nailboard template.
- Save with drawing border: If activated, drawing borders are included in the nailboard template.
- Save with drawing header: If activated, drawing headers are included in the nailboard template.
- Save 2D objects: If activated, free geometry is included in the nailboard template.
- Save tables: If activated, tables are included in the nailboard template.
Texts
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Translation dictionary group box: If you activate the Enable user-defined translation check box and if the translation file (*.hxlf) has been specified in the settings, select the desired language from the drop-down list. For more details see the help on the Translation Editor.
Preview
In this subnode, you find the following dialog elements:
- Current view: The preview of the nailboard in the project structure is fitted to the current scene view when the nailboard is saved.
- Fit to background: The preview of the nailboard in the project structure is fitted to the drawing border when the nailboard is saved.
- Fit to all objects: The preview of the nailboard in the project structure is fitted to all objects when the nailboard is saved.
Tree view item name templates
In this subnode it is possible to customize the way names of parts inserted into the nailboard are displayed in the tree view tab.
