In this main node, you find the following dialog elements:
- AutoBackup: Select one of the options for the automatic backup:
- Do not use: No backup is created.
- Simple mode: Backups of the currently opened and unsaved documents (workspaces, workdesks, nailboards, cable drawings, reports, and variants) are created each time they are opened or saved. These documents can be restored from the backups (the Restore command is then available for such a document in the Project structure tab).
- Advanced mode: Backups of the currently opened and unsaved documents (workspaces, workdesks, nailboards, cable drawings, reports, and variants) are created in the interval you determine in the field below. These documents can be restored from the backups (the Restore command is then available for such a document in the Project structure tab).
- Max. entries in project history: The number of recently opened projects, displayed in the Welcome tab, is entered here.
- Translation dictionary file: The location of the translation *.hxlf file in which the different languages are specified is entered here. For more details see the help on the Translation Editor.
- Suppress warning when reloading project: If there are several users working simultaneously on the same project and some of them change the project structure (e.g. create a new workspace), the project structure must be reloaded by the rest of the users (when they access the Project structure tab). In such a case an informative message is displayed which must be confirmed. Activating the Suppress warning when reloading project check box allows EPLAN Harness proD Studio to reload the project structure automatically (without prompt).
- Hide obsolete parts in part navigator: If activated, the part navigator does not display any library items which have the Obsolete status.
