Returning a license to the Eplan License Manager - with network connection

Borrowed licenses can only be returned to the Eplan License Manager (ELM Configurator) via a direct connection.

You have the possibility to extend the borrowing period.

Preconditions:

• The computer on which the licensing is performed has a network connection.
• Eplan License Manager (ELM Configurator) is installed on a server of your company and was activated with a Concurrent License:
• Activating a Concurrent License - with Internet connection
• Activating a Concurrent License - without Internet connection
• You have the name and port number of the License Manager.

1. Start the Eplan product while holding down the Shift key and double-click the program icon.

The Select license dialog is opened.

2. Select the following menu items: Concurrent License > Return license to the Eplan License Manager....

The Return license dialog opens and shows the license content.

3. Click Return license.

The Return license dialog opens and confirms the return.

4. Click Close.

The borrowed license was returned and removed from the selection.

5. The Eplan product can now not be used anymore.
