In order to standardize the filtering of pages in the page navigator and to make it easier to use the two existing possibilities for setting up a page filter have been combined. The page filter that you could set by using the Detailed selection popup menu item is now no longer available. Instead, further filter criteria have been added to the Filter dialog that is opened in the page navigator by using the [...] button.
Benefit:
Merging the two filter options simplifies the operation of the page filter in day-to-day usage. When filtering pages you can now take further properties of the functions placed on these pages into consideration, such as the Trade, the Representation type or the Function definition, in addition to the structure identifiers.
Through the extension of the filter criteria you have, for example, the following options:
- Using properties and function definitions of functions for the page filter
By means of the filter criteria "Function on page", "Function on page: Function definition: Area", etc. in the criteria selection it is possible to filter pages via the functions placed on them. Properties for the structure identifiers, the Representation type, the Trade or the Function definition are available as criteria here. As the result of such a page filter only those pages are then displayed on which the functions are placed whose property values or function definitions match the set criteria. - Using a search results list for the page filter
The pages contained in the search results list can be taken into consideration when pages are filtered by using the Contains results in the search results list (ID 11045) property. In the criteria selection this new filter criterion is located below the "Properties" hierarchical level.
As a result of this extension the popup menu item Detailed selection as well as the associated dialogs have been removed in the page navigator.
