Cause
In the parts database to be checked a PLC part was determined where no value was stored for the PLC type designation property and the Device description: File name property. During the import of PLC configuration files the part allocation is carried out on the basis of the PLC type designation property or the Device description: File name property. For a part allocation to be successful, one of the two properties must have a value.
The check run message is also output when the part is not a PLC device and disposes of a function template with the function definition "Network / bus cable connection point".
Solution
- In the parts management mark the line with the message in the Messages tab and select the Go to popup menu item for this line.
The respective part is marked in the tree view of the parts management.
- Bring the Properties tab to the front.
- In the property table open the hierarchy level PLC data.
- Enter a value either the value field of the PLC type designation property or of the Device description: File name property.
- Click [Apply].
- If required, start a new check run.
- Close the parts management and perform a parts data synchronization.
