Eplan Pro Panel allows for the output of manufacturing data for wire fabrication machines of different manufacturers and for sharing it with service providers:
- Rittal - Wire Terminal WT
- Steinhauer (Personal Wiring Assistant)
- CadCabel
- Metzner (Triathlon Kabelcenter)
- Schleuniger (Easy ProductionServer)
- Komax - Zeta
Each of these formats must be licensed as separate interfaces.
In addition, it is possible to configure and output a "General wires parts list". The exported file can be used by manufacturing machines, which interpret this format, for the purposes of automatic cutting to length, labeling and production of conductor ends of cables. The wires parts list contains all information on connections between devices, their routing track and their length:
- Consecutive number
- Color / number of the connection
- Cross-section / diameter of the connection
- Full DT and connection point designation of the device connected at the source of the connection
- Full DT and connection point designation of the device connected at the target of the connection
- Length of connection (without unit)
- Wire termination processing source
- Wire termination processing target
- Routing direction source
- Routing direction target
- Bundle number
- Connection number
- Routing track (item numbers of the passed-through cable ducts / DT of the cable ducts or of the routing ranges)
For all machining exports from Eplan Pro Panel, the final message is contained in a dialog which lists specific information on the exported components or states reasons why certain components could not be exported. This dialog displays the following information:
- Name of the exported format
- Name of the used scheme and the set output path
- Number of exported components
- Alternative exports
- List of all components which were not exported including the reasons why they were not exported
- Reference to system messages if any have occurred.
Note:
To prepare the manufacturing data exported with Eplan for the wire fabrication machine Rittal Wire Terminal WT, an import template is required that you create by means of the Wire Cockpit software.
