The source and target of cable connections are only determined and output in the context of the cables. This is the case in the Edit cable dialog and the cable reports and connection diagrams.
The following settings affect the sources and targets of cable connections:
- Cable property Use connected devices as source and target
- Project setting for reports: Apply source / target of cable connections from connections
