To edit copper items, there are special functions that can be used to modify the form of the item:
- Change length
- Change angle
- Change bending positions
- Add new bending position
In addition, all the customary editing functions in Eplan Pro Panel of the graphical editors can also be applied to copper items. With all editing functions, you can use the design mode to select a handle.
With some editing functions, you must consider some special features in relation to how they are applied to copper items.
MoveA copper item is always part of a copper bundle. If a copper item is moved, it is assigned to a bundle in the same way as when the copper item is newly placed. The item is moved to the respective active copper bundle.
If several copper items from different bundles are moved together, they will form a bundle after the placement.
If an entire bundle is moved, all copper items remain in this bundle, and will not be moved to another bundle. Only the position of the bundle in the navigator hierarchy may change.
After pasting, all copper items must be part again of a copper bundle. For this purpose, new copper bundles are always generated. Existing bundles are not activated during the placement.

The activation rules governing the copper bundles are the same ones that also apply to the initial placement of items. If several copper items from different bundles are duplicated, they will form a bundle after the placement.
If entire bundles are duplicated, this will create entirely new bundles.
If copper items are united, this will turn them into "normal" part placements. After this, they are no longer considered copper items. The items are no longer part of a copper bundle.
