Cause

The Conductor class ("1","2" or "5") of the connection part does not correspond to the value ("single-wire conductor", "multi-wire conductor" or "fine-wire conductor") that was defined in the connection point pattern of the source or target part in the Permissible conductor types field.

Solution

Use a different connection part whose Conductor class corresponds to the value defined in the connection point pattern of the source or target part in the Permissible conductor types field.

1. Locate the routing connection in the layout space using the Go to (graphic) functionality from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
2. Select the following commands: Tab Connections > Command group Connections > Navigator.
3. Right-click the routing connection in the layout space and select the Synchronize selection popup menu item.
   
   The routing connection is marked in the connections navigator.
4. In the connections navigator right-click the routing connection and select the Go to (graphic, source) or Go to (graphic, target) popup menu item.
   The part placement of the source or target of the routing connection is marked in the layout space.
5. Open the property dialog of the part placement function and bring the Connection point pattern tab to the foreground.
6. Check which value is defined in the Permissible conductor types field.
7. Return to the connections navigator.
8. Open the property dialog of the associated 2D connection.
9. Bring the Parts tab to the foreground.
10. Select a suitable connection part in the Part number field.
11. If required, start a new check run.
