Cause

In the parts database to be checked a part was found that is in a circle dependency. The part is identified as a discontinued part and is at the same time a replacement part for another discontinued part. This other discontinued part is in turn a replacement part for the originally determined part - either directly or via a chain of further parts that are also discontinued and replacement parts. This means that none of the parts can be used.

Solution

Possibility 1

Assign a different replacement part to the determined part.

1. In the parts management mark the line with the message in the Messages tab and select the Go to popup menu item for this line.
   The respective part is marked in the tree view of the parts management.
2. Bring the Properties tab to the front.
3. Click (All properties) or (Filled properties).
4. In the property table open the Technical data hierarchy level.
5. In the Replacement part: Number field select another part that is not a discontinued part or that is at least not in a circle dependency with the determined part.
6. Click [Apply].
7. If required, start a new check run.
8. Close the parts management and perform a parts data synchronization.

Possibility 2

Unmark the determined part as a discontinued part.

1. In the parts management mark the line with the message in the Messages tab and select the Go to popup menu item for this line.
   The respective part is marked in the tree view of the parts management.
2. Bring the Properties tab to the front.
3. Click (All properties) or (Filled properties).
4. In the property table open the hierarchy level General.
5. Deactivate the Discontinued part check box.
6. Click [Apply].
7. If required, start a new check run.
8. Close the parts management and perform a parts data synchronization.
