For this version the following extensions have been implemented for the creation and renaming of projects:
- Simplified renaming of projects
- Clearer design of the "Information" Backstage view
- Selection list for the most recently used basic projects when creating projects
- Consistent input aid for the project name
Simplified renaming of projects
In the past, you could only rename projects by using the 
(Rename project) button in the Properties tab in the backstage view. Now projects can be renamed more easily and comfortably:
- In the Information Backstage view it is now possible to change the project name directly in the project properties. To do so, click in the field for the project name and carry out your change. After you have pressed the [Enter] key or left the field, you will be asked whether you want to change the name or not.
- In addition, you can now rename projects directly in the page navigator. To this purpose, the new Rename submenu item is available for the Project popup menu item. After this menu item has been selected, the familiar Rename project dialog is opened. You can change the project name there.
Clearer design of the "Information" Backstage view
The Properties tab for the project properties in the Information backstage view has been structured more clearly. The project name and the project path are now displayed in separate fields with data headers. In these fields, the project name and the project path can be selected and copied to the Clipboard by means of the popup menu. In the course of this redesign, the buttons for renaming the project, for copying the project name and the project path, as well as for opening the project path in the Windows Explorer have been removed.
Selection list for the most recently used basic projects when creating projects
To be able to quickly access the most recently used basic projects when creating a new project, the Basic project field in the Create project dialog has now been extended with a drop-down list. Up to eight recently selected basic projects are offered for selection here, the most recent one is listed above.
The Select basic project dialog for file selection is now opened via the adjacent 
(Open) button.
Consistent input aid for the project name
Certain special characters are not permitted in the project name (" \ / < > | : * ?). If you enter a non-permitted special character when creating or renaming a project, a message is now displayed consistently (i.e. for all corresponding actions in both the Backstage view and the project management) that lists the non-permitted special characters as an input aid.
